US signals increased military presence in the Red Sea after recent attack

An attack on a US-owned container ship over the weekend has already caused several of the world’s major shipping companies to alter their routes to avoid possible attacks.

An increased military presence is underway in the Red Sea following a missile attack on a container ship over the weekend, which has already prompted several major shipping companies to divert their vessels in the region for fear of similar incidents.
