The US wants Norway to join coalition against attacks in the Red Sea

The US has asked the Norwegian government to join a defense coalition in the Red Sea off Yemen, where the world’s four largest container lines have now stopped sailing.

US authorities and allies have asked Norway to join an international maritime coalition in the Red Sea off Yemen, where attacks by Houthi rebels have plunged commercial shipping into turmoil.
