Thorco regrets rejecting bid for now-bankrupt shipping company
A Japanese takeover could have saved millions of kroner from being lost and perhaps averted the subsequent bankruptcy of the shipping company Thorco.
In 2016, the Stadil family came very close to selling its entire shipping business, which was already struggling with heavy losses after a failed venture into buying and long term-chartering ships.
