China needs more car carriers to keep up with electric car export boom

The country currently has the world’s eighth-largest fleet of car carriers, but China’s booming electric car exports require even more.

The demand for Chinese electric cars is so high that domestic manufacturers are now ordering new ships to transport the cars out of the country at a record pace, reports news agency Reuters
