Baltimore opens alternative channel for "commercially important ships"

The US Coast Guard estimates that the new channel will facilitate about 15% of the commercial operations the city had before the bridge collapse.

A new alternative channel through the Port of Baltimore will allow ”commercially important ships” to sail past the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge, writes the Key Bridge Response in an update.
