Maersk Tankers sells Broström Singapore

Maersk Tankers reduces its assets further as the company sells off the commercial part of Broström Singapore, says buyer Integra on its website. Negotiations are underway concerning the future of the ships.

Maersk Tankers divests yet another part of its activities, namely the subsidiary Broström Singapore, a company from which Maersk Tankers has been planning to reduce its commitments for some time now. At first, the sale covers contracts and employees, which are handed over to buyer Integra Holdings, the parent company behind Integra Petrochemicals and Cldn-Cobelfret, a Luxembourg-based shipping company and global bulk operator.They've opted to acquire the assets in the company through a joint venture. The agreememt is effective from September 2nd, says Integra on its website.
