DFDS acquires Swedish company

DFDS has acquired 100 pct. of the share capital of the Swedish logistics company Karlshamn Express AB. The acquisition also strengthens DFDS’ shipping division, says CFO Torben Carlsen to ShippingWatch.

DFDS has made an acquisition in Sweden. The company has released a stock exchange announcement which informs that DFDS has bought 100 pct. of the share capital of the Swedish company Karlshamn Express AB, whose main activity is transportation.

The acquisition is meant to strengthen the company’s presence in Sweden, Russia, the Baltic States and the surrounding countries and Karlshamn Express AB will also impact DFDS’ shipping division, says CFO Torben Carlsen to ShippingWatch:
