Major investor Wilbur Ross about to enter dry bulk

The major global investor Wilbur Ross is now entering the bulk market with newly established shipping company Nautical Bulk Holdings Limited, which is registered in Bermuda.

Major investor Wilbur Ross is now funding a new player in the bulk market, namely the Bermuda-based dry bulk carrier Nautical Bulk Holdings Limited.

The newly established company has raised USD 100 million so far, and the capital has been used to invest in eight ultramax ships of 64,000 dwt from Chinese shipyard Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry. The ships are set to be delivered in 2015.
