Damen to build ships in the Ukraine

Dutch shipyard group Damen has signed a contract with Ukrainian prime minister concerning the use of Ukrainian shipyards for future projects.

During a visit to the Netherlands, Ukrainian prime minister Mykola Arazov secured an agreement with shipyard group Damen concerning increased cooperation with the Ukrainian yards. Among other things, the prime minister is said to have signed solid financial agreements with the group, according to World Maritime News.
