Equity fund behind new ambitious LPG carrier

American Blackstone guarantees capital for establishing a new LPG shipping company for a total sum of USD 700 million with Greek Eletson Holdings Inc.

American private equity fund Blackstone will finance the establishment of a new major LPG carrier (liquefied petroleum gas) with USD 700 million in base capital together with Greek Eletson Holdings Inc., which already operates a considerable fleet of product tankers, according to a press release from the two partners.
