Funds raise millions in Oslo for eco ships

Navig8 Product Tankers has sold shares in Oslo - at the same time as Hafnia Tankers - for the second time in just a few months, in an effort to secure financing for a new eco-design fleet.

Alongside Hafnia Tankers, Navig8 Product Tankers raised USD 150 million from a share sale on OTC in Oslo. The proceeds will be used to finance a series of newbuildings, four LR2 (Long Range), to be built at Guangzhou Shipyard in China, says the Navig8 Group.
