Maersk Line makes USD 554 million in 3Q

Increased efficiency of the route network enabled Maersk Line to achieve a profit in the 3rd quarter 2013 that surpassed analysts' expectations.

Maersk Line has published its 3Q 2013 interim report, and the combined results of the Maersk Group once again surpasses analysts' expectations.

Maersk Line, by the far biggest business unit in the Group, achieved a profit of USD 554 million, up from USD 498 million in the same period 2012.
