Boskalis expects record-high result for 2013

Dutch Boskalis once again increases the company's expectations for 2013 as a whole, now predicting the best result in the company's history.

Dutch salvage and service company Boskalis once again increases its expectations for the year as a whole, for the second time in a row, describing the 3rd quarter as "exceptionally good with higher revenue and profit levels than the first and second quarter."

In light of this, Boskalis now expects a net result for 2013 of at least 360 million euros, up from the previous prediction of 330 million euros. The company does not provide any specific revenue figures for the quarter in the interim report, but informs that it surpassed the first and second quarter, adjusted for the sale of a 40 percent stake in a company. And the orderbook also grew, compared to the end of the 2nd quarter, to 4.3 million euros, according to the interim report.
