Storm shuts down Maersk Oil's gas production

Maersk Oil has initiated an shutdown of the company's gas exports from fields in the North Sea where a storm is currently raging, with winds reaching speeds of 72 m/s.

The massive storm currently raging in the North Sea and other places on Thursday has forced Maersk Oil to initiate a shutdown of the company's gas exports from impacted fields in the region, Charlotte Holst Hansen, Maersk Oil Communcations Officer, tells Ritzau Finans.
