New market emerging for security companies

Japan and France's decision to allow armed guards on the countries' ships sends a strong signal to other governments that are currently hesitating, says the head of a British security company.

A new, big market is emerging for armed guards on board ships in the Gulf of Aden and large parts of the Indian Ocean after Japan and France have decided to allow the security companies to operate on their ships.
