
In an attempt to improve the bottom line for 2013 a series of Asian shipping groups have put a number of assets up for sale during this fall. Next in line is Taiwanese carrier Evergreen, which has put 32,000 containers up for sale, according to Sinoship.
The containers have been put up for sale through subsidiary Greencompass Marine, with a price tag of USD 2,000 a piece. As such, the containers should land the group around USD 64 million, if all the containers are sold at full price.
