Southeast Asia still scrapping the most ships

The world's shipowners are still sending the highest number of ships to India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, which together accounted for 71 percent of all scrapping in 2013, measured by tonnage.

India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh together accounted for 71 percent of all shipbreaking in the world, and the market is strong even though the number of ships declined overall in 2013 compared to the year before.
