
The container carriers' schedule reliability declined by 7.7 percent in December 2013, to 73.7 percent, down from 81 percent in November 2013, according to new data from SeaIntel Maritime Analysis' Global Liner Performance.
“It is not unusual that schedule reliability declines at this time a year. We saw a similar pattern last year, but it is definitely unusual that schedule reliability decreases by more than 7 percent," says Alan Murphy, COO and partner, SeaIntel Maritime Analysis:
