As was widely expected, the dispute between the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) and the Spanish-led entrepreneur consortium will impact the already delayed expansion of the Panama Canal. This was confirmed by ACP administrator Jorge Quijano at a press conference on Friday in Panama City, where he - according to Reuters - stated that the canal will resume commercial operations in 2016, some three months later than expected.
