ECSA: Sort out the sulphur chaos now

With ten months left before the implementation of the new sulphur regulations in Northern Europe, there is no time to waste. Fair rules are needed for everyone, now, says the Secretary General of the European shipowners.

The new regulations for sulphur emissions in the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, and the English Channel, which will come into force on January 1st 2015, are subject to too much talk and too little action, as several industry stakeholders have previously told ShippingWatch, including DFDS CEO Niels Smegegaard.
