Oaktree leads the equity fund invasion in shipping

Private equity funds have performed a series of spectacular investments in shipping. American investment bank Global Hunter Securities has listed the most remarkable investments.

American Oaktree Capital Management accounts for the biggest and most remarkable investments among the equity and hedge funds' current invasion of the international shipping industry from 2010 and up until October 2013.
