Final agreement for the Panama Canal ends dispute

After many months of disagreement between the Panama Canal and the construction consortium responsible for the expansion - the Spanish-led Grupos Unidos por el Canal - the two parties have now reached an agreement to complete the canal.

The Panama Canal and Grupos Unidors por el Canal have agreed on the final details of the agreement that will ensure that the canal will be ready by December next year.
