Scorpio part of the Trident Alliance

More carriers are now joining the Trident Alliance, which is working to ensure enforcement of the sulfur regulations. Most recently, Scorpio and Nordic Tankers have joined the collaboration, Roger Strevens tells ShippingWatch.

A growing number of shipping companies are looking to join the environmental Trident Alliance initiative, which is working to ensure fair competition through the proper enforcement of the sulfur regulations coming into force in 2015.

Among the alliance's new members are Scorpio, Solvang, Dutch Flinter, Nordic Tankers and Ardmore Shipping, which brings membership to 17, Roger Strevens of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics and the alliance’s Chairman tells ShippingWatch.
