ICS: Governments should join forces against sulfur violators

27 days left until sulfur regulations: The industry is prepared for the coming sulfur requirements, according to the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS). As such, enforcement of the regulations must be completely ready, says the ICS in a clear call to politicians.

The shipping industry is prepared for the new requirements concerning significantly reduced sulfur emissions in northern Europe, says the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) in a statement. But the organization has noted some carriers' concerns about insufficient enforcement ahead of the implementation.
