Sovcomflot boosts Russian-flagged offshore fleet

The Russian national shipping company, Sovcomflot, will be expanding its fleet over the next few years. Sovcomflot wants more Russian-flagged ships to sail for the big Russian energy projects, according to the ship register.

Sovcomflot and the Russian ship register are now boosting the strength of their cooperation to secure more power to the Russian fleet, so that the vessels can be modernized and ready to service Russian energy projects like the large-scale Yamal LNG project.
