Deep Sea Supply appoints new CEO

The Norwegian offshore carrier has appointed Jon Are Gummedal as new CEO. His predecessor, Finn Amund Norbye, resigned in December 2014 after heading the carrier for ten years.

Stock-listed Deep Sea Supply's board of directors has found a replacement for former CEO Finn Amund Norbye, who left the carrier in December 2014 after spending ten years as head of the company.

He will be replaced by Jon Are Gummedal, who joined Deep Sea Supply in January 2014 as Technical Director in charge of global technical operations and crewing of the offshore carrier's fleet, says the company in a statement to the Oslo Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
