DFDS offer on the English Channel flat-out rejected

The attempt by DFDS to take over parts of the controversial company SCOP SeaFrance, which has operated ferry services on the English Channel in competition with the Danish carrier, did not come to fruition.

The offer from DFDS to take over parts of the employee-cooperative company SCOP SeaFrance, which is undergoing liquidation and which has sailed in competition with the Danish carrier on the English Channel, has been flat out rejected. According to DFDS, the rejection came without preceding dialog. On Tuesday the offer was rejected by the administrators.
