The number of shipowners in Greece is in decline, but carriers and their fleets have grown in size, just as there has been a significant renewal of the fleet in recent years in what is likely the biggest shipping nation in the world.

That is the overriding conclusion to be drawn from fresh data from Petrofin Research according to Hellenic Shipping News.
