Product tankers look set to deliver record results

Carriers such as Torm, Norden, Maersk Tankers and Hafnia Tankers will probably report their best tanker results for the year when their upcoming third quarter results are released.

With an ailing dry bulk and container sector and tough conditions predicted to continue into 2016, carriers such as Torm, Norden, Maersk Tankers and Hafnia Tankers stand out when they publish their 2015 third-quarterly results over the coming weeks.

Judging by the earnings of stock exchange-listed companies, such as the US based Scorpio Tankers and the Irish Ardmore Shipping, the third quarterly results look set to be the year's best period since the recovery in product tankers took off at the end of 2014 in tandem with today's booming tanker market for crude oil.
