China Cosco Holdings CEO steps down

The CEO of one of the flagship units in the Cosco group, China Cosco Holdings, has stepped down as chief executive and chairman, informs the company, which looks set for an impending merger with another major Chinese player.

Jiang Lijun has stepped down as CEO and chairman of China Cosco Holdings, effective yesterday, Tuesday, informs the major Chinese shipping group which is allegedly close to merging its container activities with another Chinese state-owned carrier, China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL).
