Maersk Broker's strategic ownership in the brokerage and consulting firm Wonsild Dry marks just the beginning of many new partnerships with other brokerage and consulting firms, says Claes Devantier in an interview with ShippingWatch. The next partnership could be settled as early as in the first quarter next year.

"Lightship Chartering was the beginning, and even then we were in talks with others. We are disappointed that we won't do anything with Lightship, but we are very pleased that we have made a deal with Wonsild Dry. And we will continue the dialog with other companies - that's how we see it," says Claes Devantier, who is a Member of the Executive Board, Maersk Broker K/S.
