Eight carriers fined for illegal price rigging in China

Several Japanese carriers including NYK and MOL, as well as Norwegian Wallenius Wilhelmsen, are among a total of eight carriers in the transport of vehicles and dairy products, which have been sentenced to large scale fines.

China has sentenced eight carriers to pay fines for a total of USD 63 million for illegal price arrangements in the transportation of automobiles and dairy products, according to Bloomberg this Monday.
