Stolt-Nielsen chairman passes away at 70

Christer Olsson, chairman of the board at Norwegian shipping group Stolt-Nielsen, has passed away at the age of 70. The company will elect a new chairman in April 2016

Norwegian shipping group Stolt-Nielsen has lost its chairman. Christer Olsson, who chaired the carrier's board of directors since 2009, has passed away at 70.

Christer Olsson joined Stolt-Nielsen in 1993 and served as director at the company before succeeding founder Jacob Stolt-Nielsen as chairman in December 2015.
