DFDS CEO heralds continued growth on English Channel

The employment of new ferries on the English Channel went better than expected, and the success from the first quarter is expected to continue into the next quarter, a pleased DFDS CEO tells ShippingWatch.

A big increase in revenue on the English Channel contributed in giving DFDS its best first quarter ever. And there is more where that came from in the next quarter, says CEO Niels Smedegaard, who is quite pleased with the latest interim report.
