Denmark wants better conditions for seafarers held hostage

When seafarers are taken hostage, they need to be completely sure that their support base is in place regardless of how long the situation drags on, which can take years, according to experience. Denmark is now working for a particular piece of Danish policy regarding hostage situations to be recognized internationally in the UN International Labor Organization ILO.
