Smedegaard has added USD 2 billion in value to DFDS

A positive second quarter was just the latest in a long line from DFDS, which has seen its market value grow by USD 2 billion since Niels Smedegaard became CEO in 2007. But there are many challenges to overcome if this trend is to continue, he tells ShippingWatch in an interview.

Things seem to only get better and better for DFDS, and today's interim report brought yet another forecast upgrade for a record result in 2016. The company delivered major growth, for revenue as well as earnings, and the result for 2016 is thus projected to reach between USD 372 million and USD 395 million.
