Former Frontline CEO joins US-based equity fund

Jensen Martin Jensen, former CEO of tanker carrier Frontline, will head the European shipping activities of US-based private equity player KKR.

Former CEO of John Fredriksen's tanker giant Frontline, Jens Martin Jensen, has been named partner and head of European shipping activities at Pillarstone, a business unit established by US-based private equity fund KKR for the purpose of acquiring non-performing loans in vessels which many European banks are currently stuck with, reports Reuters.
