The hard-pressed Norwegian offshore carrier Havila Shipping has settled a comprehensive restructuring plan which has secured support from crucial bank ties and major shareholders, according to a press release from Havila.

According to the carrier, the agreement will enable Havila to weather the downturn in the offshore market and continue fleet operations.
