Wallenius and Wilhelmsen one step closer to merger

Sweden's Wallenius and Norwegian Wilhelmsen have now signed the merger agreement announced in early September. The two shipping and logistics groups are thus on track to combine a long line of activities in a new joint venture.

The two Nordic shipping and logistics companies Wallenius and Wilh. Wilhelmsen have now signed their announced agreement to combine a majority of their fleets in a new joint venture under the banner Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, inform the two parties in a notice to the Oslo Stock Exchange on Thursday.
