Every year since the global economic recession in 2008-2009, financial forecasts have been relatively optimistic and, as such, have subsequently been downgraded time and again. The forecast for 2017 follows this pattern, but unlike in previous years it now seems that economists are more convinced that this time around the new year will not bring the same downgrades as before.
