DFDS accused of wage dumping in Scotland

A union has accused DFDS of underpaying its Lithuanian seafarers on a ferry operating between Scotland and Belgium. DFDS rejects the accusations. "It's simply not true," the company's head of communications tells local media.

DFDS was the focal point of a protest in Scotland on Friday, as the Danish carrier is accused of underpaying the seafarers employed on ferry Finlandia SeaWays.

According to a local union, the carrier is underpaying the Lithuanian seafarers on the ferry which sails between Rosyth in Scotland and Zeebrugge in Belgium.
