Norden makes big savings on fuel

Monitoring of fuel consumption on Norden's fleet has secured savings of nearly USD 25 million at the carrier, while the oil price decline has contributed to a strong reduction in costs, according to Norden News.

Bulk and tanker carrier Norden has in the past three years reduced its total fuel expenses by USD 24.9 million. The savings are achieved by solely using fuel in a more efficient manner since the company back in January 2013 established a special department to monitor its fleet, reports the carrier in the latest issue of Norden News.
