Weco A/S projects worse 2017

Shipping group Weco A/S saw revenue and earnings decrease from 2015 to 2016, and 2017 will also be a tough year. Shipowner Johan Wedell-Wedellsborg has scaled down several of his shipping activities during the same period.

Revenue as well as earnings took a setback in 2016 for Denmark's Weco A/S, which mainly operates in shipping.

This is evident in the annual report from the company, owned by shipowner Johan Wedell-Wedellsborg, which shows revenue of DKK 958 million (USD 144.7 million) against DKK 1.35 billion in 2015, while earnings dropped to DKK 126 million from DKK 149 million in 2015.
