New US sanctions against Russia could impact oil sector

New legislation in the US could impede Trump's campaign for eased sanctions against Russia, report several media.

The US could be issuing new sanctions against Russia, after the US senate almost unanimously voted for a new sanctions bill. This means US president Donald Trump must seek Congress approval before any potential easing of existing Russian sanctions.
