EU reacts to IMO summit: A lot of talk, not much action

Although the overall takeaway from last week's climate meeting at the IMO was positive, the pace is still too slow, say two members of the European Parliament's delegation. "We cannot keep on waiting," said MEP José Inácio Faria at a committee meeting Tuesday.

The shipping industry is still moving too slow on climate change and needs to act now instead of getting bogged down in discussions, says the European Parliament after last week's meeting in the UN's International Maritime Organization (IMO).
