Italian tanker carrier books deficit in tough product market

Italy's d'Amico International Shipping declined in revenue and booked a net loss in a tough market for product tanker, where a high number of newbuildings in particular strained the rates.

Tanker carrier d'Amico International Shipping (DIS), which operates a fleet of Handysize, MR and LR-1 vessels in the oil product transport market, can look back at a first half-year and second quarter with lower figures across the board.
