DFDS Executive VP: I've sometimes listened a bit too much

Peder Gellert Pedersen, who currently serves as executive vice president of DFDS' shipping division, and thus is one of the four executive VPs serving directly under CEO Niels Smedegaard, says that he has sometimes listened too much – even though he wants to listen and to have all elements of a case illuminated. Over the years, his gut instinct has started to take over.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
