Maersk bags potentially huge contract with the US Navy

Maersk Line has won a contract with the US Navy that could potentially total more than USD 190 million. With the contract, Maersk will operate seven vessels to transport military vehicles.

Maersk Line has been awarded a lucrative US Navy contract to operate and maintain seven vessels.

The contract has been signed by the carrier's subsidiary U.S. Marine Management Inc. (USMMI), which was created to target US military contracts.
