Media: Polaris Shipping in billion-dollar order for giant bulkers

Hyundai Heavy Industries will build upwards of 15 Valemax vessels for South Korean shipowner Polaris Shipping, sources tell Tradewinds.

Carrier Polaris Shipping is on track to become the first of several shipowners to place a large order for the giant dry bulk Valemax vessels, reports Tradewinds. The vessels will sail on long-term COA contracts for Brazilian miner Vale.
