DSV's acquisition of Panalpina comes with two key challenges

DSV is very close to finalizing its acquisition of Panalpina, a company that has been at the top of the company's wish list for years. On Monday, Panalpina closes the purchase and will on that occasion – likely – announce its expectations for the synergy effects that could be achieved by the new setup DSV Panalpina.

But already before that date, analyst firm Transport Intelligence, TI, offers its view on the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities in store for the freight forwarding sector's new heavyweight player, which is expected to become the world's third-largest logistics company.
